Welcome to Jubilee United Church, a Congregation of The United Church of Canada.
Jubilee UC and its congregational members are witnesses for Christ in the Heart of the Lower Mainland; disciples who are committed to following his way.
Worship (and Sunday School) happens every Sunday morning at 10:30 am – all are welcome! And we mean that:
No matter how great or little you feel your faith is, no matter if it is your first time coming to church, or you have been raised here, no matter what it is that you think keeps you from being welcomed, you are welcome here. It doesn’t matter what your skin colour, your culture, your race, your economic status, ability or differing ability, your sexual orientation or your gender identity, Jubilee United Church welcomes the diversity of all who come to find God and recognizes that it is God who welcomes us all to be part of God’s family.
Our Community Lunch serves a meal to those who need it on Tuesdays from 12 – 12:30 in Jubilee Hall (7551 Gray Ave @ Rumble). The Community Lunch will serve a Christmas Lunch on Tuesday December 17th, 2019 and will then be closed for two weeks. We will begin to serve lunch again on Tuesday, January 7th, 2020.
Our Thrift Shop is open on Thursdays from 10 am – 2 pm and is accessed off of Rumble. The Thrift Shop will be closed from December 13th, 2019 to January 8th, 2020; it will reopen on Thursday January 9th, 2020.
The Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society runs out of Jubilee Hall (7551 Gray Ave @ Rumble) on Mondays from 10 am – 11 am (other than stat holidays and the week of cheques). Please do not call the church office for information, instead please call the Food Bank directly at 604-876-3601 and they will answer all your questions. Thank you!
Our Lead Minister The Rev. Graham K. Brownmiller is often found in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. His days off are Monday and Friday. If you would like to make an appointment to see him, it is best to email or phone ahead.
We gratefully acknowledge that we are located on the ancestral and unceded territories of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ and Sḵwxw̱ú7mesh speaking peoples.
