Welcome

Welcome to Jubilee United Church, a Congregation of The United Church of Canada.

Jubilee UC and its congregational members are witnesses for Christ in the Heart of the Lower Mainland; disciples who are committed to following his way.

Sunday School happens every other Sunday morning at 9:30 am (PDT) via Zoom.

In this time of COVID-19 we continue to worship. See more information here.

The Thrift Shop, closed since mid-March, will re-open Thursday, September 17th and will be open Thursdays from 10a – 2p. COVID-19 protocol will be in place, with a limited number of customers in the shop, masks required, and no trying-on of clothing or footwear. We welcome you back to the shop where we have been busy cleaning and re-organizing. We are receiving donations of clean, usable clothing, and small household goods. PLEASE limit the amount of donations, as they need to be quarantined before they are sorted. DONATIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY via the office (604) 434-8323. Please, do not leave donations outside the building.

The community lunch will re-start as a takeaway meal on Tuesday, September 15th. The meal will be served between noon and 12:30 p at the Gray Entrance to Jubilee Hall.

The Greater Vancouver Food bank has moved their distribution to the Warehouse at 9345 Winston Street in Burnaby. For more information about the Foodbank, please call 604-876-3601

Worship happens every Sunday morning at 10:30 am (PDT) – all are welcome! And we mean that:

No matter how great or little you feel your faith is, no matter if it is your first time coming to church, or you have been raised here, no matter what it is that you think keeps you from being welcomed, you are welcome here.  It doesn’t matter what your skin colour, your culture, your race, your economic status, ability or differing ability, your sexual orientation or your gender identity, Jubilee United Church welcomes the diversity of all who come to find God and recognizes that it is God who welcomes us all to be part of God’s family.

Our Lead Minister The Rev. Graham K. Brownmiller is most readily available via email or phone.

We gratefully acknowledge that we are located on the ancestral and unceded territories of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ and Sḵwxw̱ú7mesh speaking peoples.
